Respite Care in Hailsham, East Sussex
We are an independent 22 room, residential care home specialising in respite care in Hailsham, near Eastbourne in East Sussex.
Here at Marshview, we have created a comfortable and homely environment for everyone that stays here – including a lovely garden area.
We want it to ‘feel like home’ – a place where you can still have your own familiar routine while you recover after an op or illness and need some extra support.
We understand that carers need a break, so we want you to feel reassured about our individually-tailored respite care, so you can relax while your loved one stays with us.
“I can’t find the words to express my gratitude for the way you and all your fantastic staff have looked after my mum. It has not been easy times especially with lockdown, you and your staff have gone the extra mile to make sure all in your care have stayed safe and felt loved when they couldn’t see their families. I have no doubt Mum will be returning to you and I couldn’t wish for a better place for her to be.”

How does respite care work?
Our respite care option in Hailsham is designed for elderly individuals who need short-term care.
You may be seeking some additional help for yourself while you convalesce, or for a family member or friend to give their carers a chance to rest.
Sometimes the worry of not finding care that’s up to scratch, can put people off seeking help, even though they could really benefit from it.
Whatever your situation, our respite care approach is the same. Our friendly team will want to get to know you to ensure that we provide the best and most bespoke care we can.
Fear not, you won’t have to suddenly change your whole way of life, we want you to have the choice about when you get up, the activities you do, when you socialise (or not), where you eat, what you eat …
With our respite care, the aim is that you enjoy your stay, maybe even try something new and make new friends, as well as gaining strength and confidence at a pace that suits.
